Lecturer/student exchange programs in foreign countries
Update day: 13-09-2021For the next years, the University of Law – Hue University will comprehensively continue implementing activities related to exchange programs in order to create and enhance opportunities for lecturer and students to experience, teach as well as learn abroad. For realizing this purpose, many field trips, scientific seminars and cooperation discussions on lecturer/student exchange programs in the period from 2020 with some international universities such as Tartu University (Estonia), Faculty of Social Sciences - Khon Kaen University and China - Mekong Law Research Center (Thailand), School of Law - Vermont University (USA) have been continuously taking place. Exciting experiences and international development for the University will be maintained in the future.
And now let's take a look back at the great results from the foreign trips of our lecturers/staffs to better understand the exchange programs will be conducted in the coming period!
In the last working trips in Estonia and Thailand, our lecturers presented scientific reports and discussed on problems related to the conferences’ topics. These activities have opened up oriented cooperation on scientific research as well as publication in international journals. In addition to professional activities, the university's lecturers have also discussed a number of issues on international cooperation, in particular:
With Tartu University – Estonia
1. In the second semester of the 2019 -2020 academic year: initiation of lecturer exchange program. There will be lectures from 02 lecturers from Tartu University for the K40 students of the University of Law, Hue University.
2. In May, 2020: «PhD Student Writing Camp» is expected to be held within 7 to 10 days in Hue with the participation of PhD students and lecturers from 2 universities. This is an opportunities for PhD students and lecturers to work, discuss on their mutual concerned problems and enhance the ability to write scientific papers in English.
3. In the first semester of the 2020 – 2021 academic year: the sequence of the lecturer exchange program. 02 lecturers from each university will teach and conduct seminars in the other.
With Faculty of Social Sciences - Khon Kaen University and China - Mekong Law Research Center (Thailand).
1. The sequence of the short-term training program: young students/lecturers of University of Law, Hue University will continue to be trained at China-Mekong Law Research Center.
2. Develop further the Master's program in Agricultural Law, chaired by the China-Mekong Law Research Center. In the seminar in Thailand in the last two days of December 9 and 10, 2019, the delegates have discussed and agreed on many issues of the program, the content and subject matter. According to Professor Daniel's report, the progress is very good and hopefully the program can be started by the end of 2020 or early 2021.
3. Discuss on cooperation issues with Faculty of Social Sciences - Khon Kaen University: The sequence of student exchange programs, seminar/conference organisation and the opportunity for lecturer exchange programs from the 2020 – 2021 academic year (1 or 2 lecturer(s) from each university would be given the chance to teach and exchange professional knowledge in each semester).
With School of Law - Vermont University (USA)
During the last trip in Thailand, our lecturers have also approached and discussed with the Professors of the School of Law - Vermont University (USA) on cooperation possibilities. School of Law - Vermont University is a famous instituition in the field of Environmental Law, Agricultural Law and Natural Resources Law. Our university should continue to keep in touch and discuss on possibilities for cooperation with the School of Law - Vermont University for the framework of the Master of Law Agriculture and other activities.
